The newly launched Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has won Hideaway of the Year (Hideaway Magazine) whilst the Conrad Centennial Singapore was recognised as the Best Hotel in Singapore in the 10th annual Business Asia Awards. The Conrad Istanbul has won two awards for its creative dining menus (Gastronomi Magazine). Prego, the Conrad Istanbul’s Italian restaurant won a Gold medal for its contemporary food concepts while the hotel’s Summit Bar, overlooking the Bosphorus, achieved Bronze status for its innovative drinks menu. In the recent 5th Annual MENA Travel Awards 2007 ceremony, the Conrad Sharm El Sheikh gained Silver Awards for Best Environmental Hotel and Best Conference/Convention Hotel. The Conrad Cairo has been awarded the prestigious World Travel Award as Egypt’s Leading Business Hotel for 2007. The International Restaurant and Hotel Awards has also shortlisted the Conrad Chicago in several categories, including Best Suite and Best Citywide/Regional Hotel. The brand’s newsletter Pure Conrad and the brand website, ConradHotels.com, were also shortlisted for best in their category in the recent 2008 Travolution Awards.
