Dublin has appointed Nick O’Callaghan
as sommelier. O’Callaghan has worked in
some of the leading hotels and restaurants in
both Ireland and France including the internationally
acclaimed Hostellerie de Levernois and Thornton’s
restaurant.
O’Callaghan’s
passion for wine is infectious, as those who
have enjoyed his wine tours will agree. As well
as his work at the Conrad Dublin, O’Callaghan
runs “Time For Wine” which organises
exclusive wine trips to Burgundy and the Loire
Valley in France.
For
those who don’t want to go so far afield,
O’Callaghan will be hosting a series of
fine wine and informal tastings at Alex, the
Conrad Dublin’s acclaimed restaurant.
